Terms of Service — Win Words

Welcome to Win Words. By creating an account or using the app you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. Eligibility & Minimum Age
You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EEA) to use Win Words. By using the app you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
2. User Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity under it. One account per person. Certain profile changes (such as your username) may be limited to once every 60 days.
3. Acceptable Use & Prohibited Content
You agree not to post, share or transmit content that includes hate speech, harassment or bullying, sexually explicit material, violence or gore, illegal goods or activities, or anything that violates the rights of others. Violations may result in content removal, suspension, a permanent ban, and — where applicable — reporting to law enforcement. Any content that sexualises minors is strictly prohibited; such accounts are terminated immediately and reported to the authorities / NCMEC.
4. User-Generated Content
You retain ownership of the content you create. By posting, you grant Win Words a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display and distribute that content within the app for the purpose of operating the service. You are responsible for the content you post and must have the rights to share it.
5. Reporting & Blocking
Win Words has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Every post, comment, message, profile, clip and room can be reported using the ⋮ (three-dot) menu → Report, and any user can be blocked or muted from their profile. We review reports and act on violations — including content removal, suspension or a permanent ban — normally within 24 hours. Content that sexualises minors is removed immediately and reported to the authorities / NCMEC.
6. YouTube API Services (Rooms)
Our watch-party Rooms use the YouTube API Services to provide video playback of videos chosen by users. By using this feature you agree to comply with:
Prohibited use. You may not use the app to download, redistribute or modify YouTube videos in violation of YouTube’s policies, and you may not bypass YouTube’s access controls (for example, quota limits or age-restricted content).
You are solely responsible for the links you share and must have the right to share them. The embedded player does not access your Google account; YouTube may set cookies and collect data when a video is played, as described in Google’s Privacy Policy. Copyright complaints are handled under our DMCA process (see Section 7).
7. DMCA / Copyright
We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content on Win Words infringes your copyright, contact us at the email below with details of the work and the allegedly infringing content, and we will review and act on valid notices, including removing infringing content and terminating repeat infringers.
8. Virtual Currency & Purchases
Coins and other virtual items are virtual items with NO real-world monetary value. They cannot be exchanged for cash, are non-refundable except where required by law, and cannot be transferred or restored once used or once an account is deleted. Purchases are processed by Google Play Billing.
9. In-App Communication
The app provides messaging, comments, rooms and other communication features. You agree to use them lawfully and in line with these Terms.
10. Termination / Bans
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that create legal risk for us or other users.
11. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The app is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Win Words is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
12. Google Play Compliance
Your use of the app is also subject to Google Play’s policies and terms.
13. Governing Law & Changes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. We may update these Terms and will give at least 7 days’ notice of material changes.
